a winters tale

Darlington 1883 Fundraising Group are proud to present An Evening With Jeff Winter.

October 5th will see refereeing legend Jeff Winter come to Darlington in support of Darlington 1883. To be held at Darlington Rugby Club, Blackwell Meadows, An Evening With Jeff Winter promises to be this years not-to-be-missed event.

Since breaking ties with the FA, MBN Soccer Speaker of the Year Jeff Winter is free to speak about his experiences with true candidness, his dealings with the most controversial and volatile players and his experience of the management elite.

Jeff has also spent time at TFM, and has followed the Boro for nearly half a century, so truly understands the passion we have in this region for football. Through his Charity Bets Jeff has also raised hundreds for local charities including the Air Ambulance.

We are pleased to welcome 'Man Of A Thousand Voices' and Britains Got Talent finalist Leslie Gibson to Darlington as part of our An Evening With Jeff Winter event. Leslie has wowed audiences with his uncanny impressions of Beckham, Shearer, Keegan, Capello and Sir Alex, as well as TV favourites such as Gordon Ramsay, Ant & Dec and Ross Kemp.

An Evening With Jeff Winter is to be held at Darlington Rugby Club, Blackwell Meadows, on October 5th starting at 7pm. Tickets are available for only £25, which includes a hot buffet and prize draw entry. On the night there will also be an auction, and other fundraising games, with all monies going to help support Darlington 1883.

Tickets are available from DFC Quiz Nights, which are held at the Dolphin Centre, Darlington. They will also be available at the Family Fun Day on September 2nd in the Market Square, Darlington.

Well done to all for organising this.
I'd rather see the three legends and I think that is a bad idea.
