Craig Liddle has organised a bucket collection at tomorrow’s big game against York to help fund their FA Youth Cup trip to London next week.

Darlington’s Under-18s are due to take on Arsenal next Wednesday (December 1) in the third round of the FA Youth Cup at Barnet's Underhill Stadium.

And Liddle is asking Darlington fans to help him fund a “first team experience” for his youngsters, who’ve beaten York, Mossley, Accrington Stanley and Huddersfield to reach the third round proper.

Liddle said: "The lads deserve the opportunity to go and face Arsenal after the way they've performed for me this season and we’re looking at ways to fund an overnight stay for the boys.

“The coach is already costing us a lot of money, but we want to travel the day before and treat it like a first team away game to give the lads an extra experience.

“As ever, any financial help to do this would be hugely appreciated."
