Felix was happy to stay.

Robson was a downgrade, did you see the goals he conceded?
So he was lying then?
Yes I’ve been to all of the games Robson has played in, I believe he’s ahead of Taylor in a number of attributes but Taylor would have saved one of the goals scored (Spenny’s 1st).
Felix only wanted to leave once Gowling had forced him out. So yes, technically, Gowling was correct, Felix did want to leave, but only after Gowling had created a situation where Kaine wanted to leave.

So Taylor wouldn’t have saved any of the 4 conceded at Tamworth either?

Data also shows Taylor is clear of Robson.
If he was asked to attend both training sessions by Josh and Kaine wasn’t happy with that I wouldn’t call that creating a situation…

As far as I'm aware, Kaine wasn't attending training both nights a week and therefore Gowling got rid.

Personally I'd rather have Kaine Felix training once a week in this situation than one recognised winger in the squad...

As you ask so many questions, why do you think we haven't extended Robson's loan? There has been no indication so far that we tried to extend this.

Taylor is clear and this situation has been managed poorly by JG.

I would, especially as those terms were different to what were agreed with Kaine when he was retained over the summer…..

So you have picked out one goal from his 100+ games & used that to counter what I said?

Your arguments are very poor, just like your thinly-veiled & personal dig at me earlier.

Terms agreed by AA. Gowling is perfectly entitled to request Felix to attend 2 sessions a week, when we are bedding in a new style of playing, just as Felix is perfectly entitled to say that isn't convenient to me, I'll look for a club closer to home. It isn't creating a situation for the sake of it as you have implied.

Do you know how contractual law works or not?

Regardless of what was changed, someone the quality of Kaine Felix (15 G/A in 22/23 + 4 pens won) was worth having for the sake of missing one session per week.

It’s hardly’s like this new system is working, is it?

I can pick out other Taylor butter finger moments too 97. I only did that to illustrate to you and others that T.T. isn't, and wasn't the "strong armed" super hero that he's being made out to be.

You reckon Taylor would have saved one of the goals let in at Tamworth - I mean this means nothing! I could say that I reckon Taylor would have let in one more at Tamworth, which would be equally as daft.

He hadn't been a game changer this season. 0 G/A prior to his transfer. Was he that good he should have preferential treatment to the rest of the squad? AA may have thought so, i'm not so sure. Like it or not, Gowling has his system, and the players (existing and new) need to become accustomed to it, and to each other. Being there 50% of the time probably doesn't help you.

Wonder if he accepted reduced terms for that agreement?

For the reason I stated earlier, both Taylor and Robson are of a similar standard and neither have been the answer for us.

So much fuss for two players that have been a permanent fixture in a side that have been the worst in the league since March.

Taylor > Robson, and Taylor has been more than good enough for us over his time here. I will be sad to see him go, and he will surely do a good job for his next club.

I like the sound of Whitley though, and the new lad Rowe seems a good player.

Felix only played about 360 minutes this season prior to his departure.

Yes, Felix was good enough to have that agreement with.

Good luck finding us a winger that can register 15 G/A a season.

I could say Taylor helped us finish top by New Year last season.

Do you see how this works? It’s no good saying, “x player is crap as they are part of a side that are bottom”, because equally you could find a scenario where they are in a high performing side.

I’m not saying Taylor is some “strong armed super-hero”.

I am saying that he is a good goalkeeper at this level, as proved over 100+ matches, passing both the eye test & the data.

He is also about to hit his peak years as an experienced GK.

He is better than Robson & it would be a mistake letting him go.

I’m not.

TOFC had a personal & unprovoked dig from nowhere, which I am allowed to respond to.

I want us to stay up desperately & I’ve already talked about the negative financial implications relegation would have. However, the club/JG are making mistakes which are making it harder & harder for us to survive each week. Why shouldn’t I be allowed to talk about it?

(reply fail to the post above)

Of course you can discuss it and lets hope we can escape the drop (fingers crossed)

The thing is I have not seen one single positive post from you, not even a "I hope the lads get a result this weekend" or "lets get behind the team on Sat as they need our support" etc etc, its been relentless negativity form the minute we appointed JG.

Tommy has to be back in surely rather than wasting more time and money bringing in another loanee.Other positions are more important,

I wonder what Tommy's state of mind will be if Darlo were in to loan whiteley from York, can't be easy for him to come into a game knowing the manager has no faith in him. I hope he does play and has a blinder to build his confidence up.

"state of mind" If he can't handle losing his place for a while he maybe needs another job.

I hope he has a good game too.

Interview with Taylor just put up by the club, sounds like he's playing tomorrow and seems a smart move by the club to put that interview out there to clear up the rumours that he's got the hump.
