Curzon Ashton incident

Well done to the individual apologised and admitted he made a mistake and took his punishment, I was at the game but followed the ball and did not observe what happened.
For those many easily identified individuals who ran on the pitch at Walsall in FA Cup in front of BBC guess you were lucky.

Re: Curzon Ashton incident
Swift and appropriate action by the club. Wonder how many Premiership/Football League Clubs would be able to demonstrate the same for a similar incident? Though I think as has been reported on here previously in those circumstances you would be breaking the law so a different procedure to be followed I guess.
Re: Curzon Ashton incident
I meant to add I wonder if Cutzon have accepted the outcome given it happened at their place?

For Premiership / Football League clubs, the police would probably take action and apply for a banning order under Football Spectators Act - minimum 3 year ban from all games at National League or above, and internationals, friendlies etc and FA cup from 4th QR.

What purpose / who does naming publicly serve?

Re: Curzon Ashton incident
It acts as a further deterrent.
Re: Curzon Ashton incident
I don't agree. I also really don't agree with name to shame culture.
If a critical deterrent to a person taking an action they shouldn't is avoidance of being shamed on the internet society is fundamentally broken.
Foolish action, admitted fault, ban applied, we move on.
