Newton Aycliffe 1-5 Darlington FC
First Half: Bartlett; Marrs, Hunter, Brown, Ferguson; Wearmouth, Syers, Turnbull, Gillies; Beck, Trialist
Team that finished the match (3-5-3): Bartlett; Hunter, Brown, Walton (YT); YT, YT, Milburn (YT), Wheeler-Andrews (YT), Thompson; YT, Saunders
Very impressed with Wearmouth tonight, in what was his first start.
Trialist centre-forward was also quite impressive. Don't know his name though. Jamie? Scored one and assisted another, good movement off the ball.
Burgess & Portas were warming up but did not take part. No Jameson, Collins, Galbraith or Cartman there tonight.

No sign of Brodie or the other trialists from the Shildon game? Odd seeing that Gray seemed to imply earlier that he wanted to take another look at them tonight.

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

I think the trialist was James Caton played for Dover, thought he played well.
Help get the club back to Darlo by helping to spread the word about the "Back to Darlo!" fund. The image on the right will be constantly updated with the latest total so please feel free to use the image link below the thermometer on your own signatures, blogs, websites, etc. | Image link: http://www.mydarlo.co.uk/img/BTD-therm-350x100.jpg |

Trialist was very impressive for me, would like to see him again.
Re: Newton Aycliffe 1-5 Darlington FC
If correct, Wikipedia has him down as a winger who has scored 6 goals in 50 appearances, half of those were made last season at Southport.poppyfield wrote:I think the trialist was James Caton played for Dover, thought he played well.

Gray had already said before the game, that Brodie wouldn't feature at Newton Aycliffe.

Re: Newton Aycliffe 1-5 Darlington FC
Was interested to see that Darlo finished with three at the back maybe it's an option to use for the likes of Salford ,York , and kiddy maybe why we are looking at another CB to give us options.
Re: Newton Aycliffe 1-5 Darlington FC
Darlo finished with 3 at the back because Aycliffe were no threat especially after they put a few subs on.Be a different game against York etc.

A few highlights of Caton, it seems to have been taken from his time at Southport.
