I think this is the best thing while they rebuild.
Rather than being put in conference north and getting relegated.

That is interesting. Previously phoenix clubs have been re-instated at step 5, at least that is my understanding (and certainly where we ended up).

The notable different this season is that step 5 of the pyramid will effectively be re-classified as supply league football not contributory league football. It is going to take 2 seasons for Bury to almost recover to an equivalent level to where we restarted from.
