Attendances

Couple of attendances last night caught me eye.

Morecambe v Crewe - 927.
Accrington v Wycombe - 1119.

Absolutely shambolic for League 2 footy.

In defence of Accrington and Morecambe, they are both traditionally not well supported, plus I'd imagine hardly any Crewe or Wycombe fans would have travelled to their respective games.

Wycombe took 111 fans; which leaves 1008 Accrington fans.

Crewe took 207 to Morecambe, which leaves 720 Morecambe fans.

Ridiculous.

That's pretty good away attendances at those game. Accrington has always had trouble attracting more than a 1000 home fans, plus poor weather last night in Lancashire and midweek fixtures can all go some way to explaining those attendances. But I agree those figures are on the low side, but probably not ridiculous.
