DFC Business Breakfast
by Wayne Raper - 3rd July 2012

The campaign to get corporate sponsors on board as part of DFC's bright new future gathers pace tomorrow with a business breakfast held at the Rockliffe Hall.
Members of the sponsorship and commercial workstream group will present to local businesses in an attempt to obtain funding that will further strengthen the club's position as we head towards the start of the season.
Almost £7K has already been pledged by way of sponsorship and advertising excluding the £10K kit sponsorship committed by the Northern Echo.
In what has been a busy run up to the event we'd like to thank those who have helped out contacting businesses over the past week.
Thanks go out to stu_1, coppedout and loveit! from this board along with Emma from Blossom and Angela. Your hard work is most appreciated and embraces the community ethos of the club.

Quite a lot of seats going to Sponsors but I guess it has to be done. Good luck with this tomorrow.Tori_Gill - 3rd July 2012 22:11:18
Well we only have 30 corporate seats reserved and 14 are used up straight away with match and ball sponsor so that only leaves us with 15 and if say a couple of people but the platinum package and a few get the exec tickets, that's it until we get the new stand.
Thanks, presentations are done and dusted and we shall be there for 8 to rehearse!

It's understandable, personally will be standing and give OAP's/Disabled the chance of the seats. I always hated all seater stadium so I can't moan now I have standing again.

By all accounts was a good success with new sponsors coming forward. Be worries if they said it wasn't a success though!Peter Barrons view - http://tinyurl.com/bl5ncly
