Carvery Re-Opens This Sunday

Normality is slowly returning to Darlington Football Club with the re-opening of the Sunday Carvery plus the conference facilities once again operational.

Since the club went into administration in early january the club was being run using skeleton staff with the possiblity of the club actually closing.  But times are changing and it is now up the the community to once again back their club.

The club's popular Sunday Carvery will re-start again on Sunday March 4.

The club are also holding a special Mother's Day Carvery, on Sunday March 18.

General manager Jason Lees said today: "It's great to get thing back up and running again and we hope our fans and the general public will start using the stadium's magnificent facilities once more.

"We're now available again for conferences and parties, so please contact the club for further details."


The menu for Mothering Sunday is:

Cream of Leek & Potato Soup
Or Prawn & Smoked Salmon Tian with Rustic Crusty Bread

A choice of Beef, Pork or Turkey from the Carvey with all the trimmings.

Sticky Toffee Pudding with Butter Scotch Sauce
Or Individual Berry Pavlova

There's also a children's menu available.

The two-course meal is £12.95, and the three-course is £15.95, while the kids menu is £10.95.

Is it worth the club passing this Info onto Star Radio and doing some sort of one off offer where they can sell carvery vouchers through that half price meal / days out thing they run. I know we need to raising as much as possible but it would get the word out there and give the club a bite at the cherry?
