Season ticket sales at Darlington have increased this summer, with hundreds of fans flocking to book their seats for the 2010-11 season.

The Quakers have already surpassed the total number of season ticket holders from 2009-10 for the forthcoming Blue Square Bet Premier season, which kicks off in four weeks.

Around 200 new and lapsed season ticket holders have signed up already, taking the current total to just over 1,300.

“I’m absolutely delighted,” said chairman Raj Singh. “We’re just over the 1,300-mark already which is a little more than last season so we’re hoping to get a few more between now and the start of the season, but we’re thrilled.”

Season tickets will available for collection from Friday August 6 at the ticket office and every weekday leading up to the opening game of the season against Newport County on Saturday August 14, when they will also be available up to kick-off from the Corner Bar.

Fans who haven’t taken out a season ticket yet have four weeks left to take advantage of the savings on offer against paying match-by-match prices at the Arena.

Season tickets for the 2010-11 season are priced £280 adults, £175 concessions and £69 under-16s and under-10s.

Match tickets in 2010-11 are: early bird £16 adults, £10 concessions, £5 under-16s and under-10s; matchday £18 adults, £12 concessions and £5 under-16s and under-10s.

Season ticket application forms are available from the club or they can be downloaded on the club’s official website at www.darlington-fc.net
