FANS FOOTY NIGHTS

Darlington FC are set to hold two Fans’ Footy Nights to make up for the disappointing December postponements.

Fans will be able to quiz Darlo players, management and the board during the fun evenings, due to be held at the Northern Echo Arena next week.

A limited number of tickets are available for each night, priced £5 each which includes food (chilli or curry), while all draught beers and lagers will be reduced to just £2 a pint.

The club’s general manager Phil Preston said: “The postponements have been hugely disappointing for us, not least our fans, and everyone who helped us clear snow off the pitch, so this is an opportunity for all our footy-hungry fans to get back into it.

“Fans Nights are always popular events here at the club and we’re sure these will prove to be just as popular. They certainly promise to be fun and fans will also get a chance to put questions to some of our players and as well as the manager and members of the board.”

The Footy Nights, which also include a Darlington-themed quiz with prizes up for grabs, are due to be held next Wednesday and Thursday (January 13 and 14) from 7pm in the Ron Greener Suite.
