Away kit vote

Post by Spyman » Tue Jan 19, 2021 7:11 pm

Purple one is my favourite, with the orange sashed one as my second choice. Nice to have some symmetry with the home and away kits.

Same broken hooped design but in red rather than white, and the same 'lattice' design as op4 for the home kit but in orange.

Number 1 for me I think. 2 is rubbish. I wanted hoops but can't help but think those hoops in 3 are a bit rank.

Can't see number 4 for some reason.

Good idea to get people signed up for the fan accounts as well. Nudged me into action. I sort of think it should've been the other way around, where the owners chose the away kit, but I'm nitpicking.

Personally I like all 4 - even number 4 is just something different

For me I’m torn between 1 and 3

Number 4 is brilliant. It's so different but it's brilliant.

Away kit vote

Praise be to glorious the Democratic People’s Republic of DFCSG.

I give worshipful thanks to the Politburo, led by wondrous Supreme Leader Stockdale, for this beautiful opportunity to vote for Option 2.

There was a pink and purple number a couple of seasons ago that was great and lost out to a boring black and red hoop. This could be a chance for revenge!

There’s a whole year of that banter to look forward to if it wins.

Perfect for trying to sneak into the vimto factory anyway.

Who cares what he votes for. I am surprised he bothers to vote at all given he thinks the whole thing is so corrupt.
I had some sympathy with his viewpoint but he is completely out of order with his sarcastic comments about Chris Stockdale and DFCSG Board. Thankless enough job without his crass comments.

I think after one too many glasses of Chardonnay Old Git, you've got the wrong end of the stick. I was more taking the mick out of myself than anything.

It was all meant in good humour and rest assured, I have no issue with how the away kit voting process is being run.

BGA - since you asked so politely, I voted option 2 and option 3. And I'm backing option 2 overall.

If you were taking the mick out of yourself you would do well to make it clearer as you are hardly noted for your scintillating wit.
No Chardonnay tonight unfortunately I have to have the odd night off.

Come on now dear Old Boy. BGA seemed to get it was in good humour. You love a good chance to lash out at me, so I think you've just overreacted on this occasion. All good, and all forgiven.

I'd recommend cracking open a bottle. I'm currently supping on a nice Shiraz.

I’m nee fashionista but number 4 is one of the worst kits I’ve ever seen in my life, purple and camouflage should never be in the same sentence.

Nice I quite like a Shiraz or a Malbec.
By the way not buying your transparent attempt at friendliness. Clearly you overstepped the mark with your comments about Chris Stockdale and the DFCSG Board and you are now trying to pass it off as humour.
Yes you are correct I do not miss a chance to get stuck into you. Simple reason is I think you deserve to be called out as a bully boy.

Lighten up will you!

You might not have found it funny but it was clearly humour.

I sometimes wonder if you've both got too much time on your hands.

And if you're wondering (which I bet you're not), Sauvignon Blanc for me. Preferably from New Zealand.

Think what you like. Everyone else has taken it as a joke, so you’re just making yourself look silly and humourless.

Anyway, about those away kits.....

Please, please you guys set up that whats app group for your personal attacks and it has to be Rioja and either 1 to 4 why not let main sponsor Ebac decide that fits in great with their logo?

Isn't that what Coventry did years ago with Talbot as sponsor and the T Shaped shirt design to match sponsor logo and get round rules limiting advertising size on shirts.

"The 'T' was shirt design and nothing to do with sponsor". The version without sponsor name was for when game was shown on TV as at time sponsored shirts were not allowed on TV!

I have no intention setting up a WhatsApp group with Gramps or anyone else thank you.
However I do realise that Gramps lengthy and pointless debates with me and others on this forum do become tedious so don’t worry I have made my point and have no intention of further discussion with him. Well at least for now.

I saw quite a bit of Cov at that time. Loved that shirt. It was so unusual.
