Fylde Tuesday night
Re: Fylde Tuesday night
Obviously hoping for a good result tonight but remember travelling to Farsley for the first game last season full of optimism and being brought back to earth with a bump.
Realistically I reckon a draw would be a good result but would love to be celebrating all 3 points.

Yep, would take a point right now and then try and get all three Sat.
Obviously we all want to win but it's a tough away start to the league season.

Kev can I carry your kit and bags for you, I will do anything to get in to see a game
Re: Fylde Tuesday night
I see it’s not just Fylde that can’t get a stream up and running. York have “technical difficulties “ this evening Honestly, we really put these full time clubs to shame.

Re: Fylde Tuesday night
1-0 down, hard to see us getting anything out of the game, without any recognised strikers.
Re: Fylde Tuesday night
Unbelievable bad luck with injuries strikes again. Or is it bad luck or poor preparation?

Re: Fylde Tuesday night
FT 1-0, it was always going to be a tough game, but we weren't helped by injuries up front.

Re: Fylde Tuesday night
Even Reid was limping at the end, god knows what team we will put out on Saturday but the major worry for me is Atkinson and Maguire who are both very injury prone.Big problems already for AA.

Worst case scenario for Saturday is Armstrong and Donowa up front with Laing and Watson plus Academy kids on the bench.
Re: Fylde Tuesday night
Could we get Tyrone in as emergency cover if needed ?
Re: Fylde Tuesday night
Graeme was pretty good.
Louis could jazz things up a bit!
Lance might get on his bike !

Re: Fylde Tuesday night
Don’t think there’s massive shame in losing tonight. AFC Fylde should be one of the title contenders, up there with York this season. So in that sense a 1-0 defeat away to them isn’t horrendous.
Far greater concern is the injuries. Second season in a row we’ve had a raft of injuries very early on.
Totally get that this is an exceptional season with a very different preparation. Nonetheless it’s still concerning to have so many at the same point as last year. Either it’s really rotten luck, or something is off with the preparation.

I’d imagine O’Neill would be mightily frustrated if he wound up back here.Old Git wrote:Could we get Tyrone in as emergency cover if needed ?
He should be looking for a full time club to go on loan with. National League as a bare minimum.
Re: Fylde Tuesday night
Definitely jinxed. What we need is a witch doctor not a pitch doctor.
Time for AA to call in some favours & get in a new strikeforce, assuming the injuries are serious.

Gunnersaurus may be looking for work, perhaps we could get him in on a free?
