Players moving from DFC to YCFC (and vice-versa)
Players moving from DFC to YCFC (and vice-versa)
Here's one for the club historians (or those with excellent memories). There's a long history of players moving from YCFC to DFC (and vice-versa). Pre-2010 they're easy to find (on the http://www.neilbrown.newcastlefans.com/index.html site for one) but my York-supporting mate and I have been trying to think of those who've made the switch (directly, not with other clubs in between) since demotion. We've only come up with Ferguson, Bartlett, Steels, and Fenwick so far, but I reckon there are others. Anyone?

Was Stockdale from there? Or Gabbiadini?

How about John McReady did he go to York after we were demoted to the Northern League? Was a decent prospect not sure what happened to him.

There was a lad called Adam Reed (not the original) in the Northern League/Evo-Stik days I think. May not have moved direct from York but from memory played for them at some point and came with a decent reputation but was a bit of a disappointment.

Joe Tait, Bradley Fewster, Chris Dickinson, Ryan Brobbel and Peter Jameson would be a few to add to the list.
Sam Muggleton and Richard Brodie have played for both of us but not transferred between the two clubs.

There's 45ish transfers between the clubs listed on that web site, plus these ones, plus the four me and my mate came up with. That's a lot of traffic, admittedly over 70+ years.
