I said on the other thread that the schemes overlapped which has been recognised in the email. Who's going to let it run the extra month?

Mine's on a Standing Order so no need to renew. It's just one of my Standing Orders for the 1st of each month and is effectively just included in my month end budgeting.

Maybe any refund money from last season for 4 missed games on season tickets and car park fees could be added to the total.
As long as people don’t need it of course.

Awesome start as to be expected.

I will be increasing my pledge slightly because I believe that Alun will spend wisely on good players, as shown last season.

One slight misgiving is no target has been set, why? Darlo fans love a target.

Another slight concern is it comes across a bit defeatist when it mentions that maybe some fans won't be able to pledge because of the current circumstances, which although true, is it something that needed to be said?

What refund money? Have people seriously been asking for money back?

Standing order Joe, I might be wrong but most of the ones done through the BTB portal end after so many payments.

I am sure you are right but it could be that it drops off after 13 payments like mine?

Just trying to show that they are understanding to the fan base and the current situation, think it's fair enough.

Although agree, put in if you can but don't if you can't afford it should always be the rule.

Mine is the same as all my other Standing Orders, 1st of each month until further notice. Darlo Lottery, rent, and £10 a month into Darlington Credit union (beer money fund for when I get up there). :D

I'm sure that whatever we manage to raise will go further than last year, as players will have to be more realistic in their wage demands. It would be interesting to know what kind of budget the club gives Alun, before BTB comes in? Nearly £18k fantastic effort.

Mine is also on standing order and it is 'until further notice'. That way it never finishes. I dont have to set back up again, just change the amount i can pay each year.

Just passed £21k unbelievable effort. I bet the vast majority of clubs at our level can only dream of raising such an amount from their fans.

This goes to show the confidence the fans have in AA and his recruitment policy, in addition to the way DJ and the rest of the board are running our club. All the big earners under TW should be off the payroll now, no more costly travelling expenses so whatever is raised through BTB will represent good value for money which AA has previously mentioned.
Fabulous response this on the first day.

Be interesting to see if the cut off date gets extended, especially with next season unlikely to start on time.

Great start to BTB and once again if there was ever any doubt we have the best fans ever.
Just a note of caution probably many more fans than normal at home in the present circumstances so will be pledging as little else to do. This fantastic effort could quickly run out of steam so lets not celebrate too soon as there is a long way to go.
Like Matt Hancock’s pledge to test 100000 people a day it is a tall order to raise £100000 in a month for a club of our size. We have made a great start but there is only so much cash that people can afford to give and so many deserving causes.
Keep the faith we will return stronger than ever.

It's never run out of steam before. We all know that if we want to own a competitive football club then this is what we have to do... and keep on doing it. For me, in this messed up, tragic world where so much has been turned on its head it will be good to eventually come out the other end with one bit of normal life intact to offer some release and relief from all the bad things we're having to contend with every day.

There was an option on the survey accompanying the btb email offering the chance to roll your sum over - wonder whether that has helped get us off to a good start?
