Nope. It's all blue with one blue hoop / band this year. They've had all blue shirts, all-white shirts, and a sash in recent years too. A bit weird.

Why are you always so uptight on where news comes from if it’s correct. Some fan owned clubs release monthly data, DFC do a yearly AGM based on the previous year.

Well if it's hoops yet again, I won't be buying. We need a change & will vote for 3 again.

Re: New kit
FFS just stick to the original designs if people moan about the non appearance of hoops then let the DFCSG board stick to their initial decision. I’m actually more bothered about there’s still no DFC sign on Grange Road after 3 years.
Re: New kit
I do agree with my more prolific name lookalike that better signage on Grange Road would be welcome but that is an old chestnut and off topic here . A lot of comments above have said that hoops are best known to younger members but as an octogenarian who first watched the Quakers in 1951/52 and rarely missed a home game and a few away in the first half of that decade I only recall the team playing in hoops, they really are part of our identity . Because of this I voted for 2 in the first vote as nearest to hoops but on reflection I see a hint of hoops in the shirt that was 3 and is now 2 so with a bow to the commercial argument I am voting 2 in the new vote I hope sales justify this choice .
Re: New kit
Bit surprised no one thought of a long sleeved version with velcro cuffs for optional extra of attaching gloves. Think of all the glove wearing players we could attract.....
Second thoughts, maybe not

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

I'm sorry I'm still not over Caton wearing gloves in September

My first game was 1951. We stopped using hoops in 1954 and the next appearance was the 3 thin bands in 1966.quakerfan wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 2:57 amI do agree with my more prolific name lookalike that better signage on Grange Road would be welcome but that is an old chestnut and off topic here . 3 is hideous.
So by process of elimination I’m stuck with 1.

Re: New kit
Obviously you are never going to please everyone with whatever design is chosen. I personally have not voted for the hoops. That's because I fancy a change. Whatever design wins I will buy one because it is money going back to the club. If hoops win then I would look at the other design as the away top with the red/black or sky blue/white.
Re: New kit
Hoops should have been in the original vote, as now its a skewed vote.

Re: New kit
As Darlo fans we love the underdog - new kid on the block (option 2 ) taking on the mighty hoops, so because of this I predict a close battle here with a very good chance of a shock win for option 2.

Re: New kit
well that`s saved me some money but disappointed.
Re: New kit
Fair enough - certainly shows a majority still want hoops and justifies going back with that final vote frankly, but shows a substantial amount are happy to break with that part of our identity.
I think the way this years vote has worked is a decent blueprint for the future. A non-hooped play-off versus a traditional hooped shirt in the final. I'd happily have that every year as actually it keeps the hooped part of our identity alive but also gives fans a say on whether to break for a year, if they want.
Re: New kit
Ah well, just buying the away shirt for the 4th year in a row then. Make do with the virgin trains home again as its so similar.

Re: New kit
let`s hope that the 56% who voted for it buy`s it then
Re: New kit
The new one is really smart imo.
It’s also substantially different to this years I think. I’d like to see some variation on the thickness of hoops in future for sure, or a resurrection of the three thin hoops in particular.
The second choice actually grew on me though. To be honest, it was 1 and 4 from the original lot that I really had a problem with. 1 for being a god awful Newcastle looking thing, and 4 for being Reynolds era esque. The others were absolutely fine.
This wouldn’t have been a discussion if a hooped shirt was in the original options.
