More self-delusion from you. Dave Dickson was given a contract. Your own club website even says he was appointed manager. You may dislike it and may never have wanted him to be manager, but the fact remains he was appointed to that position. He counts as a Gateshead manager because he was officially given that role.

Ryan Kidd never managed a game for us, but he’s still classed as being our manager.

Mike Williamson sounds like a massive risk for Gateshead, as he's had no managerial experience.

Everyone has to start somewhere. Had kevin keegan had any experience when he joined newcastle as manager. Add steven gerrard to that list, joey barton, frank lampard. He has an assistsnt who knows the level and talk of another coach coming in so im backing in

On paper only. No one ever wanted him there and he did nothing at all

On paper is reality I’m afraid. As such he replaced Clark, and Williamson replaces him.

Glad you’ve corrected yourself.

All I'm saying that it's a massive risk, I certainly would prefer a manager with experience of managing at this level, rather than somebody who has no experience managing or playing at this level.

Williamson hasn't taken charge of a game yet, so how can you call him your manager?
