Re: Dave Syers gone
As expected.
Dropped down a league aswell. I'll let you have fun working out where he's gone.

Re: Dave Syers gone
I've never been sure how he's fitted in with the squad which was built this year, so no real surprise. Shame though, as he was class when he first came in.
Re: Dave Syers gone
An experienced player proven at a higher level gone though. It's a blow.
Re: Dave Syers gone
He's another one who has looked an extremely unhappy player.

if it's not looking extremely healthy I'll be flabbergasted.Darlopartisan wrote:So Syers gone Collins gone, how’s the budget looking now! ?
There's nothing on any platform I can find to say he's gone and the club tweeted him directly about his birthday earlier... where's this been confirmed?
Re: Dave Syers gone
I don’t think him and Wright have seen eye to eye in recent weeks.LoidLucan wrote:He's another one who has looked an extremely unhappy player.

The sooner we get rid of every player who can score a goal the sooner we can balance the books.

Issues between the dug-out and some of the more frustrated unhappy players have been clear to see.

That would effectively be like pressing the self destruct button.SwansQuaker83 wrote:Thommo to South Shields I reckon...theoriginalfatcat wrote:The sooner we get rid of every player who can score a goal the sooner we can balance the books.

Some posters on hear take delight in making comments about our football club without knowing the full facts , its as if they don't want to see a club in the town.
There's no wonder we are struggling a bit if these posters are so called fans of Darlington fc. sometimes i do really wonder what is in there minds.

O’Hanlon next....
Re: Dave Syers gone
Only player to show 100% commitment every single week, week in week out when selected. My bet is that he has run the furthest of most players every game. He is a bright guy so probably had an opinion too!
Another hugely experienced player to be replaced, (hopefully), by another young weak kid on loan I guess....it just gets worse (whatever the reason for him leaving)
Good luck to him, no one can doubt his commitment whatsoever and should have been playing more often.

I am sure of one thing, with these outgoings if TW is allowed to bring a player in it’s got to be a leader .

Re: Dave Syers gone
Very disappointed to see Syers leave. Clearly a class act and our best form last season came with Syers playing off Styche. Two very talented goal threats gone.

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

I doubt Collins departure has had much impact on the budge as it’s likely we’ll have had to pay a good whack of what we would have had to pay him anywayDarlopartisan wrote:So Syers gone Collins gone, how’s the budget looking now! ?

You're relentless man, relentless.
Has it not occurred to you that the reason we were so apathetic against Telford was because the players knew what was on the cards?
Syers isn't the last to go either.
Say what you like about TW, and I agree with a fair bit you say (but not all), but he's having to deal with constantly having to sell players. Having to, not wanting to, necessarily. How many is it now?
One good thing is that we are paying all of our bills on time. That's something new for this club.
