Spennymoor game off (old thread, not our game - yet!)
Re: Spennymoor game off
If spennymoor can't play on their ground Thursday then why not ask M P Rugby club to use the arena, fans of both clubs won't want to play at Harrogate, I couldn't make Harrogate but could make spennymoor, or DMP. ARENA. as I, my sure others in the same boat, lost revenue to clubs.
Re: Spennymoor game off
Seems common sense to be at BM, but to be Spen's home game officially.
They might have to have more of the seats than us, to accommodate their season ticket holders who normally have seats. It makes way more sense than both sets of fans having to go to Harrogate.

Re: Spennymoor game off
My only thought about The Arena is , does it actually need inspecting and grading for football? It probably needs some National League inspectors to actually grade it for a football match just as a matter of course.

Re: Spennymoor game off
How embarrassing for Spennymoor to be outnumbered for such a crucial game if played at home and if the game is at Harrogate they'll be vastly outnumbered by Darlo fans. Wonder if Groves is paying for free transport to take Spennymoor ans down to Harrogate?

Re: Spennymoor game off
Does anyone know the ticket situation for our game with spenny Thursday? Is it all ticket or are we able to buy on the door?

I reckon if it's on at Spennymoor, we could take at least a 1000 to the game. If it's at Harrogate then 700. Can't wait for Thursday.
Re: Spennymoor game off (old thread, not our game - yet!)
Would be nice to know where this local derby is to take place as travel plans need to be made. Anyone know when a decision is likely?
Re: Spennymoor game off (old thread, not our game - yet!)
Presumably tomorrow if there's potentially a venue change
Re: Spennymoor game off (old thread, not our game - yet!)
It's at Spenny subject to a pitch inspection by the National League altho not been said when that is. I don't think the League trust a local inspection because of what's happened in the past. If the pitch can't be used for football now it never will be until it is completely replaced.
Re: Spennymoor game off (old thread, not our game - yet!)
Probably a good job they might only sneak into the playoffs in 7th, meaning all their games would be away, isn't it?

At least the new seats look nice and shiny

The pitch looks shiny too.LoidLucan wrote:At least the new seats look nice and shiny

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

If Darlington win the toss, will they defend the deep end in the first half?Spyman wrote:The pitch looks shiny too.LoidLucan wrote:At least the new seats look nice and shiny

The panic's over. At a light training session this morning things seem to have improved dramatically.....

Heaton will be okay in the deep end but I hope Gillies can swim!

Thommo might disappear completely at the deep end.don'tbuythesun wrote:Heaton will be okay in the deep end but I hope Gillies can swim!

Good excuse for Thompson and Gillies not to track back.

Glover can only play with parental supervision and his arm bands on.
