Season Ticket Sales 2018/19

Post by Gow9900 » Thu Apr 12, 2018 7:24 pm

Update on the Facebook page.

We’ve sold 150 early bird season tickets to date, with the early bird offer ending on the 30th April.

I’ll be honest, I thought it would be more than that. Wasn’t expecting huge numbers put thought it would around the 250/300 mark. The club released the early bird offer in early March I believe.

The boost the budget effort has been tremendous, but I’d imagine that the club is looking to budget for a certain amount of income from season tickets then the boost the budget money added on top of that. I could be completely wrong mind.

I’m wondering if the club will extend the offer to try and get the numbers up a bit and try and generate a bit more income, because if they aren’t selling at discounted price they’re not likely to sell at full price.

People might just be holding off until the end of the season maybe, who knows.

Bit puzzled i could not put it on my credit card as i always try to pay for things on it to get the legal coverage. Fortunately i do have the cash in the bank and the lovely ladies at Quaker Retail in the Dolphin Centre had a supply of preprinted forms ready. Well, I have put my faith in TW & club for next year and coughed up the necessary so just hope others feel the same.

Just had a look at the offer - its pretty darn good. Just over a tenner a game.
Saving 73 quid over the season if you pay on the day.
I have never really looked into it as I can't usually attend all the home games in a season - but with this saving I don't think I will be bothered if I miss the odd game.
However, I will probably leave it until the last minute to make a decision.

Don't forget it guarantees you a ticket if we have a big match, and quicker through the turnstiles! Just do it :!:

Will be renewing mine next week as well even though I have missed the last 5 home games due to bad ankle break and probably miss rest of season.
So roll on next season for me

What big match is that, as we always lose all our cup matches?

Has to change at some point.

Now at 240 ST sales currently to go with the 350 or so 500 club members.

Yes it is one of the ways to pay for season tickets now but only cash or cheques can be handed over face to face

Not yet. Will go on sale at some point in the close season and current car park pass holders will be given the opportunity to renew.

Nice to see an increase - hitting 400 early bird would be a good step in the right direction

In recent seasons, they've extended the early bird offer beyond the end of April, no idea if they'll do the same this year.

No plan to extend it. Ends tomorrow.

There is some natural flexibility if you purchase online tomorrow. Buy on TicketTailor and you can purchase by credit card. If you purchase using GoCardless your bank account won't be billed for a few days.

Thank you to everyone who has purchased so far, with sales in excess of last season's EB number there has been a positive response.

Hopefully TSB problems have been preventing a number of people doing the business, but can now get their transactions through!

That's really impressive, that

Considering we have 300 or so 500 club members.

Have any of those 500 STs expired yet?
