Tuesday’s Games
Interesting, listening from the sidelines this evening. Away wins for Telford and Gainsborough would certaily make things very tight at the bottom - with, presumably, N. Ferriby finally relegated officially. And Spenny to drop out of the playoff positions?

Would love North Ferriby to bounce back & stiff Salford, though very unlikelydsr wrote:Interesting, listening from the sidelines this evening. Re: Tuesday’s Games
In the new format, the teams that finish 6th and 7th (York possibly) will have to win three hard away games to get promoted.
A tough ask.

Re: Tuesday’s Games
Isn’t that only fair, that they have to climb the mountain, given they could have 20 points less than the team that finishes second?
Re: Tuesday’s Games
Sounds like Salford are not having it easy. Both sides down to 10 men and still only 0-0 at 38mns

Yes, it's fair. Better format in some ways.dsr wrote:Isn’t that only fair, that they have to climb the mountain, given they could have 20 points less than the team that finishes second?
So if you finish 2nd (i.e. Salford/H'gate) and miss out - then win two home games and you're up.

Re: Tuesday’s Games
A Southport goal pushes Spenny (currently) to 8th.
Very much looking forward to Ginge’s update. Think I’d be more than a little worried if I were an Alfreton supporter.

Amazing! North Feribby have drawn against Salford, puts into perspective how well we played on Saturday.

Re: Tuesday’s Games
If the Poolies lose tomorrow night at Barrow which is live on BT Sports, they will be in the bottom 4.Get in.Good results for us tonight with Gainsborough,Alfreton and Boston losing and Chorley and Stockport edging closer to York.Spenny need to get there act together, that's 3 successive defeats and with a congested set of games to come.

Re: Tuesday’s Games
Rather it was Morley, never smiles even when they win. This result has been coming as they have had the breaks the last 2 home games particularly the Tamworth game who missed a last minute pen to go 2-1 up and lost it with the last kick.Emdubya wrote: Deadmen1-1Salford.The biggest coupon buster of the season

Re: Tuesday’s Games
That Salford result is priceless. Can you imagine what the difference is between the playing budgets of those two clubs. Some of those Salford players probably get more per week than the entire N Ferriby team are on.

Well, who is going to see the lads at Stockport on the last day of the season? Could be one massive game......

Re: Tuesday’s Games
I wish I could join in the playoffs’ euphoria, but. I don’t see it.
Say we won 5 of our remaining games and drew the others = 63 points. To finish ahead of Kiddie and Blyth we would be looking at them getting no more than 10 points from 10 games - unlikely. Not so easy for Stockport, Spenny, Corley and Southport, but I can’t see all four of them failing to reach 64 points.
Of course, it is arguable that we will get more than 15 points, but the nearer we get to 7 straight wins, the more fanciful it becomes.
Of course I live in hope, but it is not expectation.

Ferriby didn't have a man sent off only Sal£ord... They still should of been a class above the village team on what we saw on Saturdayjjljks wrote:Sounds like Salford are not having it easy. Both sides down to 10 men and still only 0-0 at 38mns

I think I’ll probably manage the train journey to Stockport for the last game of the season. If it runs on time it will take me a full 4 minutes.jjljks wrote:Well, who is going to see the lads at Stockport on the last day of the season? Could be one massive game......
