Re: Hardy
He will be back, short term loan for him was the plan by all accounts.
6 Goals in 4 games isn't a bad return either.

Re: Hardy
I like Hardy and he can score plenty more for Darlo.
Re: Hardy
I disagree. Some of our best form of the season was when he was starting and scoring, with Cartman as an impact sub.Ingleby wrote:I'd take a small fee before his contract is up. All good scoring at that level but he's never going to hold down a starting place for us.
Is isn't our goal scoring that is the problem.
Re: Hardy
All good scoring at this level too, like he wasIngleby wrote:All good scoring at that level
Didn't he score 6 or 7 in the first 2 or 3 months before he lost his place, got an injury or two, etc?
Re: Hardy
I agree with Beano, I thought we looked good with Hardy and Beck starting with Cartman to come on as impact sub (although he may not like that). Hardy generally played well for the first half then tailed off.
When he was dropped, his quality in his sub appearances was poor, then he got injured so I'm sure Gray will assess when the loan is up. We've only got 2 recognised strikers (3 if you add Thompson).

Re: Hardy
I'd have Hardy back as soon as possible.
Re: Hardy
I agree don't think MG sent him on loan to practice coming off the bench and changing the course of games. So for me if he comes back and given the goal scoring form he is in, he has to play surely? Has still scored more for us than Cartman!D_F_C wrote:I agree with Beano, I thought we looked good with Hardy and Beck starting with Cartman to come on as impact sub (although he may not like that). Re: Hardy
There's more scope with the new (Chorley game) set up as Hardy can play a pacier game wide and a bit ahead of Beck. We had 4 fit established strikers rotating last season. I cant see us trying to go on a potential run-in with just 2 this season.
Hardy is a proven finisher on the ground and in the air, so he's just what MG says he needs.
Buxton are playing well and Hardy is scoring for fun. Darlo have now shown they can play well going forward, so for me Hardy is ideal player to have for any push for promotion.
