They're crowds are probably more than twice the Superleague as well.

Bad result Rob, I'm just thankful it wasn't on TV. Not sure why we've had such a bad start this season?

Who's planning to go to the Magic Weekend at St James Park in early May?

I'm getting 6 tickets for the Saturday of the Magic Weekend, to force my family to watch the Wigan Warriors play Leeds.

Can't see many being left in the ground for that one, not like the third game on Saturday. 6 of us now going to support Wigan Warriors.

I'm going to the Magic Weekend at the end of the month. Going with the wife's cousin who is a massive 'Ull FC fan.

Have no interest in RL (play union where i'm from), and I've never got into it, but it should be a good day, and it's supposed to be a full on spectacle.

Three games on the Saturday: First up: Salford City Reds (Boo) v Widnes (Black and White Hoops - Yay). Then, Wigan v Leeds which should be tasty, and finally 'Ull v 'Ull KR which will be good too. Followed by a night on the toon. And crashing at the outlaws.

In a sense of sporting solidarity, I've been permitted (by the lads I'm going with) to wear my Darlo shirt because 'Ull also play in black and white hoops.

The Wigan game is the last one of the day on the Saturday at 19-00. I've just got 6 tickets at half-price, so saving £50.

Not so confident of a Wigan win after yesterday's debacle in the South of France. Hope they rise to the occasion.

That's the way to do it, what a brilliant day out and a great crowd and 27-12 to Wigan, with 23 unanswered points. Good to see a few Darlo fans made the trip up to Newcastle for the Rugby and got the last train back.

Good luck to Cas tomorrow and Rob. Pleased you thought Wigan were the bis today.

Record magic weekend attendance yesterday with just over 40000. Hopefully the powers to be will return to Newcastle next season as well.

Not sure about the idea of a club being able to sign one player who is excluded from the salary cap. I think some of the smaller clubs in the Superleague will over extend themselves, pay over the odds and end up in a financial mess.

Your certainly punching above your weight and 4th place now looks like a realistic possibility.

Wigan beat Huddersfield comprehensively 32- 8 and look a very good bet to win the Grand Final a week on Saturday.

I don't think Leeds are all fully fit, some of their players seemed to be running on empty by the end of the game on Friday. Whereas Wigan came through their semi-final in fine shape all fully fit. Wigan must be favourites to win on Saturday.

They were bloody lucky and didn't deserve to win. At least Wigan has a far more youthful side and squad, so the future looks rosy.
