Congratulations to you all - nice to see some old 'Darlo Boys' in the team.
That ankle looks very colourful and painful!

it is full 11 a side but only 15 minutes each way. very intense games. first day is group stages and top 2 from the groups go into the worldnet tournament the next day. the bottom two/three from all of the groups go into the plate the next day. sunday is knockout rounds, you lose and your out.

Well done for being the best team of losers.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

We are hardly the best team of losers, its like saying the team who win the FA cup are losers if they have not also won the league. The world net plate is a knock-out competition and UFC won it, did not lose one single game on sunday.
This is even more remarkable when you consider we draw our players from a small club with a small fan base, I think well done would have been more apt  .

we worked our butts off and along the way we beat 4 teams with bigger support than us.
Results were:
AFC Wimbledon Won 2-0
Bury Won 1-0
West Brom 2-1 (after losing 4-1 the previous day)
Bradford 1-0

No, I genuinely do mean well done by the way. Good effort and good to see the club being represented in this way.

My first post was a bit tongue in cheek.

Also needs to be pointed out that we try and give all the squad (19 players this year) a fair run out on the saturday regardless of fitness and/or ability and those that perform the best on that day get the bulk of playing time on the sunday.
Just because its the bottom 2 or 3 from each group that end up in the plate doesnt mean all the teams are poor. West Brom for example were a very good side but we raised our game even more for that one and got our revenge following a fairly average display against the same team on saturday.
All the lads who took part gave of their best and deserved to be involved in a winning squad. It was a proud moment for them all to win some silverware and for me to be their manager.
