I've just finished signing Darlo Uncovered up with the Amazon Associates Program so that we can earn income through purchases made on Amazon. Uncovered will earn a percentage of any purchase made through our special link which will go, initially, towards paying my server costs (as well as Uncovered, I'm hosting all the other Darlo related sites that have sprung up recently!).

Any profit made through this system will be invested into the football club on a quarterly basis.

How does it work? Simple. If you already use Amazon, simply replace any bookmark you might have with this link, or use this link whenever you visit Amazon:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/?_encoding=UTF8 ... tive=19450

The link has our special affiliate ID coded into it already. Uncovered will then earn a percentage of your purchase - starting at 5% and rising the more we sell - but it will not affect the price you pay.

Why quarterly? Because, if I remember rightly, that's how often they pay out. It's been a while since I had an Associates account that actually earned anything

Any questions, just shout.

BALLS!

Wish you had mentioned this an hour or two ago. Just ended up buying £25's worth of kit. Rather have the money going to you guys than lining anyone else's pocket.

If you can afford to spend a quarter of a million I hope you`ve made a substantial donation to 1883 lol

Could you put a special "Support Darlo" Amazon button somewhere at the top of the page? I order quite a lot of stuff from there but could be from one of many different computers, and it might be months before my next order. A button would be helpful - and also is it possible to add the same to the online shop and all the other sites too, so I can't possibly have an excuse for forgetting to do it?

I'm going to stick something in the top nav here - tonight, probably - and there will be somewhere on New Uncovered(TM,C) which advertises it - probably the ad banner at the top if no-one else buys the space.

I use Amazon all the time so this a great idea. And for anyone who uses Amazon - take a look at the Amazon Prime deal. For forty odd quid a year you get free next day postage on tons of stuff and you can share the membership with four members of your household - even having different accounts and delivery addresses. It's a no-brainer - I must have saved well over £200 in postage alone with the convenience of next day tracking and delivery.

Just seen this on the Boston United Website, we could get affiliate income from loads of online shops and services.

Am happy to help if required.

Just spent about £200 on amazon there so that's an extra £10 in the coffers.

Does this apply to stuff bought from Amazon Marketplace too? What about stuff bought with gift vouchers rather than actual money? I've been buying a fair few books off Amazon Marketplace with gift voucher credit lately and I have no idea whether any of it's gone to Uncovered, that's why I ask.

Third party (Marketplace) sellers are definitely counted, and I don't think the payment method matters - it's all commissionable.
