The trouble is Strings has said a lot of stuff that has been documented, which he has later gone back on, so really what legs does he have to stand on - I'm presuming Craig's comments were based on that anyway.

Doubt he'll do anything. There's nothing defamatory in the statement, he's got away Scott free as it is. If he has any sense he'll keep his head down for a long, long time rather than entering in to any public sympathy act.

The sooner people start forgetting about the actions of Raj Singh the better it will be for him and his businesses.

Mikkyx, I know they are Craig's comments (hopefully scrutinised by the 1883 legal people first) and printed in the Echo etc. They do, however, appear on this site in the news section don't they? Would you/Scott/Darlo Uncovered be liable for any trouble should it occur by keeping it there? Would it be prudent to remove the 'offending' lines to keep the site safe?

Personally I say screw the get, but it's not my money on the line. Just thinking aloud..

surely they can actually release EXACTLY what happened now.

There was a confidentiality agreement in place while negotiations went on which adhereing to was sensible as it may have seen the negotiations fall apart. Surely now they don't exist.

Surely minutes were taken at all meetings - get them out. Remove any details that don't need to be there (personal finances etc.) but the general just of how negotiations went, what was put on the table and exactly what was said.

Surely you can't be "done" for fact.

What are the contentious comments anyway?

Craig McKenna, project director stated "It is the fans that I feel for, they deserve better than this and they have been let down by Mr Singh. It is clearly his actions that have lead the club to the circumstances we are now in and I fail to see how anyone could justify the blatant disregard he has shown to the football club and the fans. It is the fans club now and if that is the only positive thing to come out of this then it is a positive thing well worth having."

That's hilarious! A few posts above you were asking the mods to remove any sign and then a few minutes later you post the whole quote. Brilliant!

"It is the fans that I feel for, they deserve better than this and they have been let down by Mr Singh."
we were let down he put us into administration - surely that in undeniable?

"It is clearly his actions that have lead the club to the circumstances we are now in"
again he put us into administration - that is why we are where we are

" and I fail to see how anyone could justify the blatant disregard he has shown to the football club and the fans."
maybe this is the only contention - did RS show disregard to the football club, admin arguably was a necessity and if he stands by that he was doing everything he could to help then maybe this is contentious.

"It is the fans club now and if that is the only positive thing to come out of this then it is a positive thing well worth having."
I challenge RS to find another positive - well he will probably say he isn't losing money each week!? thats a positive to him i suppose.

I think they'll laugh him out of court if RS tries to take it any further.

"It is clearly his actions that have lead the club to the circumstances we are now in"

Like it's been said above, he put us into administration so clearly his actions have lead to our current circumstances!

What a c***. Singh scouring through comments for reasons to threaten legal action is pathetic and pointless. The damage he did to our football club and the lies he told along the way are all clear as day.

Just before things went seriously wrong, 1883 were making positive noises. I took it that they were confident they could sort a deal that Singh would accept. Singh's clauses were put to rest by the FA but I thought something else would be agreed.

Since then Singh has acted like he has been wronged. He's acted like he's been denied something by the actions of 1883 or Harvey Madden. I can't see this myself (although it might explain Shaun Campbell's controversial post) but if something did happen untoward, why doesn't he state what it is ?

Answer, because he can't.

The more this story unravels the more it seems that no one has a good word about Mr Singh and his business ethics.

People need to stop giving any credence to singhs threats of legal action. There's not a court in the land that would give him the time of day regarding the things he's supposedly kicking off about.

Unless you're falsely accusing him of something criminal, it's all just opinions. The duplicitous fucking crank can stick the rest.
