The Evostik AGM was supposed to be Saturday 16th?

Think it still is the 16th. Just had a good look around and can't see anywhere saying any different.

Looks like the FA have their finger on the pulse as usual - NOT!

My apologies it does seem it is Sunday 17th. If the league AGM takes place before the appeal I can't see how we can go into Evo Stik.

I wonder if the Board members going to Soho can claim their train fare back from the FA for a wasted journey?

Just checked Chester's appeal, it was heard and upheld one day before the Evostick AGM.

It's an easy get out for the FA, they'll probably uphold the appeal but conveniently we'll not be accepted into the Evostick as they'll have finalised everything

I wonder if either 1883 or the FA realise this?

Have 1883 asked the FA about the "what ifs"? What if we win? The Evostik AGM has been and gone by the appeal.

The FA could surely have held their appeal this week?

Maybe they should also ask the Evo-Stick League if their plans can be altered after the event as well? I get the feeling that the FA are simply playing us lip service to the appeal and we'll stay where we are. I wonder if the FA can allow us to enter the cups? Is the barring from the FA Cup and Vase part of our appeal - I hope so. Extra income for us at least if we get through a couple of qualifying rounds.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I read somewhere on here a while back that if we are to be treat as a new club we will not be allowed to enter the FA Cup/Vase etc, is this the case?

Correct.

Whilst we will lose out on additional income I think for this season it's a good thing in that we'll have less games than the other teams going for promotion and can concentrate on the league.
