Why would we be demoted?

As for the opinion expressed about Darlo fans… meh. It’s just the same old thought-averse guff that every other pointing, gawping, Northern League villager with an axe-to-grind / pitchfork-to-shake has cobbled together about us.

When you look into the NCE it does look like a significantly better run organisation than the Royston Vasey Invitational Clown Challenge that we've ended up in.

Because in some cases an unsuccessful appeal can result in a harsher punishment.

I suppose an appeal like this can go several ways

1. No change - the FA decide they were right all along - most likely?
2. Reduction in punishement - new evidence might suggest either the offences were less serious than thought, or on reflection in the circumstances the punishment was too harsh
3. Increase punishment - you are even more guilty than we first thought, or we want to make an even bigger example of you - and sod the rules, guidelines and precedent - we are the FA and we do as we please.

Increased punishment only occur if an appeal is deemed frivolous no way with the evidence we have can that be claimed!
