Hi. My question was moved to the answered section despite there being no response to it other than a pile of posts about a completely different issue on cc (the disclaimer).

Here is the question again:

My experience of this process was widespread initial publicity of the 1883 initiative inc CC. Made my donation, kept an eye on the CC site for updates then at the end of Feb you ceased all communication with the most crucial source of investment that was open to you. People were asking questions but the silence was deafening. Anyone considering donating when they could see that all communication had dried up would be mad. What is the explanation for this?

I am not sure what deafening silence you are referring to?
We have been answering questions all the way through wherever possible and I am not aware of any questions going unanswered.
Have I missed something?

You seem to have been active on this forum which is great for the people on here, but if you look on the crowd cube forum there are many posts of unanswered questions and people commenting on how much of a "joke" the lack of answers are.

If there had been clear communication for everyone to register on here (I stumbled across it on google) then it probably wouldn't have been an issue but as you'll see from the link it's reasonable to conclude that a lot of investment was lost and investors annoyed.

I hate to sound argumentative or defensive but I disagree. Most of the posts were answered and although there a couple which hadn't been seen there were few and far between. There has been a lot of information provided and as a small team handling a huge job there was always going to some things missed. There was a lot of "trolls" cruising the CC site and no matter how often their questions were asked they just kept asking more.
Anyone and everyone on CC had the option to send me a direct email either through CC or direct to my email and I received a total of 4. All of which were answered.

I can appreciate there has been a lot to do and there are many on here, it seems, who are pleased with the teams efforts and I won't pretend that I'm close enough to make a judgement on that. I'm just surprised that the publicly visible forum on the official investment page was seemingly abandoned from the end of feb. I would think that anyone who didn't have access to this forum will have been made to think twice about investing based on the silence, perceived or otherwise.

There seem to be several recent genuine questions that have been completely ignored.
