Taggart's going to be unbearable if Manu win tomorrow, isn't he?

Sunderland should have taken all 3 points!

Still, 4 points from "title contenders" this season isn't to be sniffed at!

whys that like? Man City were the better team. You have to hold on to a lead until full time not the 85th minute or whatever it was ;)

BOOM!
Captain Common Sense speaks the truth!

Sunderland are the only team to force City to drop points in the Premier League at home this season.
What happened when you went there? Oh wait that's right.
You got your arses handed to you.

At least Sunderland went 3-1 up before conceding... where as you lot went 3-1 down and stayed that way.

city had alot more possession and chances so in that sense they should have won.

are you seriously going to start comparing results?.. hows it looking down in 9th by the way?

Newcastle United have spent far less and are at the moment the better team. Simples.

Pot. Kettle. Black.

I lived in Newcastle for four years and took in a fair few games at SJP from which I can say without doubt that Newcastle fans spout some of the most utter bollocks I've ever heard, and not just about football either...

I agree - working in a Company that is split 50/50 between Mags and Makems.

However, today a Newcastle fan told me - and he wasn't joking - that they will finish 3rd. - Champions league was coming to Newcastle  .

It would be if you got in it.
You'd get absolutely mauled.

I don't see why. Apoel Nicosia are a tiny tiny club but have not been mauled. Newcastle now have some quality players - Guttierez, Collocini, Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Tiote, Ba, Cisse - all of these are very good, established, International players who play for some of the best International teams around.

BQ....we probably would yes, but look at Apoel.

anyway if we were to get into it (which i don't think we will) then it'd be 6 more games in europe than what sunderland have played

And just to add further weight to my argument that Alan Pardew is a complete tosser...

Pardew likens Ben Arfa to Messi

Jesus wept...

He's probably just saying stuff like that to get North Eastern retards like you frothing at the mouth.

Between him and Kerry Katona they'll have you in an early grave.

jesus you're such a moron.

6 games in Europe (something sunderland have never played in) with more prize money or a few more games in the FA cup with 2 of them being replays?.. it took you 210 minutes to get the better of Boro for god sake.

and before you mention us losing to brighton, they also knocked you lot out of the League cup.

This is the most pointless argument in the history of this board. Newcastle are better than sunderland at the minute, one result against any team doesn't change that.

I was more counting 6 games of football in any competition to be honest rather than in any particular competition.
It might have taken a while to defeat Boro but we put Arsenal to the sword.

I have to admit, Brighton are a promising side. I don't think they'ed do too well in the Prem but it would be nice to have a bit of fresh blood in there.

to be honest, most teams would have put arsenal to the sword that day, they were absolutely terrible, it was straight after that defeat to Sunderland when they started to play well
