Been out in the middle east for the past 12 years working in quality / project management. Will be back in Darlo early February for at least a year and will try my hand at anything (within reason).

If you're looking for volunteers you might want to try vInspired or Orange Rock Corps.

That or the student unions of Unis and 6th Form colleges nearby

Based in Darlington.

Has anyone come up with a PDF poster people can print out and stick in their front windows yet?

Sounds like a job for you if you're up for it.

If the Fleetwood game gets the nod we need to be ready to promote it like there's no tomorrow - not standing around wondering what to do next. We need to be prepared.

I think one of the posters hereabouts said they had access to a big town centre window. That should be filled with posters and stuff, and we also need to attract plenty of people in from outside the town.

P.S. As stated on a much earlier but unfortunately buried version of this thread I work for an electrical contractor - not much use at ground zero but if we move on to pastures new then we can help with MEP design work, drawing production and so on. I also work with a guy who put the drains in at the Arena.

That earlier thread is worth a read - there was a pretty good idea about getting a TV company to do one of those "Grand Designs" type programmes to follow our progress if we did end up having to knock a few bits of wood together (I think the thread was actually about how to get Feethams back up to scratch).

We've got access to a big window downstairs too. If there's a poster kicking around I'll see what we can do.

Boro fan also and also supporter of a number of northern league clubs. I'm hoping you survive rather than having to start again. I've already made plans to take my son to the home game if you do.

I run a number of comedy/entertainment nights in Redcar and Middlesbrough so i'd be happy to put together some fundraising nights for a new club. I also put together programmes/posters for some of these nights so would be happy to design programmes or posters if required.

Fingers crossed it won't come to having to start a new club but i'll be happy to help either way.

Why thank you!

Probably asked you this before, but where did you learn your trade? Just via books etc...? I ask because like I said further up I'm a keen amateur photographer and I'm always looking to improve. Got a 550D with 2 lenses (18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Kit Lens, and 50 mm f/1.8 II Lens ).

I am Colchester based, but am an experienced project manager and data analyst, with experience of developing business cases.

Happy to review data, or help develop business cases. I have access to others with data analysis, and business consultancy skills.

Purely just from experience really.

I had books when I first started off but just learned everything as I went on.

Cracking lens the 50m f1.8 II especially for the price! Doesn't half make a noise when focusing tho lol.

Edit: I also possess my personal license, so if we currently lack anybody at the club who has the legal requirements to support the sale of alcohol, and if it can be done, I will happily offer this as well.

I dont really have much formal experience, not had the best of lifetimes lately, so I have done quite little.

I have been involved in Youth Groups for more than half my life, sat on a Board of Trustees(youngest ever member I think when I originally got elected at 18) and was Vice Chairman of an Organisations Board at 26(again the youngest to hold the post).

I suppose with that I could get involved with young people if a Youth Team is eventually set up, I applied for Mascot in 2010, so would do that one day maybe, also have experience of bar work and supervising a bar, worked at Stadium of Light for 4 years. In the long term were we ever to get our own little permanant, would happily put myself forward to organise events at a future stadium, and could try to help foster links with Schools and Colleges...

I have a NVQ in Advice and Guidance which be used to help with problems with players, because let face it Footballers have problems and need to let off steam now and again...

I may be able to talk my photophrapher mate into helping, and my uncle is a top printer, so could try asking him for help with programmes and flyers, probs could not get it for nowt but could ask for a discount

Hey guys. I'm a Newcastle fan but really do not want to see Darlington disappear. I'm a fan of all local teams and always want to see them do well.

I'm offering my services for anything. I'll even play.

But seriously i'll run turnstyles or collections outside the ground.

Also made a donation of £25. (not much but everything helps)

This thread reminds me of:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxPGzj2L3n0

I speak Spanish, German and French, so I'm pretty sure I could negotiate the return of Sanchez-Munoz, Franz Burgmeier and Fabien Bossy if need be.
