Who are the "old fogies"?

Post by PierremontQuaker03 » Sun Oct 23, 2011 9:40 am

Just listened to Coopers post match comments and it is cringe worthy to say the least.
I heard him say that there were 4 or 5 old fogies he wants to get rid of - I was trying to work out who he is referring to. In yesterdays team:
Brown - Cooper is playing him out of position
Lee - hasnt played the last few games
Big Ex - has only just signed
The Taylors - not too sure how old they both are?
Not in the team:
MBW & Arnison - have not played in recent weeks
Hatch - certainly hasnt done it in recent weeks
Russell - not played recently.

well he cant blame yesterdays result on players that weren't involved.

So that leaves:
Brown - not had a regular run or played consitently in the same position
Lee - scored yesterday but was paired in defence alongside another pace challenged defender...Cooper paired them together for yesterday, surely he must have conbsidered pace issues?
Big Ex - like has been said he has just signed
Kris Taylor - signed by Cooper to play in a position that he isn't good enough to play hence previous managers playing him elsewhere

Basically Coops can only blame himself for the performances of those above

Arnison 34
Brown 31
Lee 33
Brough 30
Bridge Wilkinson 32

They are the players you have over 30

Brown and Lee played yesterday Brough was on bench but didn't come on. Now looking at that you don't have a lot of "old fogies" unless Cooper is classing late 20's as old.

And to prove your manager has finally lost the plot your average age of the team that played yesterday ( thats the 14 who made it on to the pitch) was just below 24.Proof if proof is needed that he is looking for any excuse to move the blame away from himself.

R.O.H. Andy..........the post from me is FACT........ If you can prove it wrong, feel free to do so.

You had 2 over 30's in your starting 11 yesterday, 1 over 30 came on as sub.

Cooper says you have "Old Fogies" you have an average age of 24, Cooper blames the "Old Fogies"......

Soderburg AGE 21
Brown AGE 31
Lee AGE 33
Geohaghan AGE 26
Chandler AGE 22
Taylor AGE 21
Taylor AGE 28...... Gray AGE 18
14 Atkinson AGE 19
20 Rundle AGE 27.......McReady AGE 19
12 Bowman AGE 19
29 Rodney AGE 20........ Hatch AGE 29
Substitutes
Russell AGE 29 Brough AGE 30

Take your 2 un-used subs and the average age of the SQUAD yesterday is 24.5. So which part of my post warrants a I love Bob, he's my favourite Poolie from you. I haven't took piss out of losing to Braintree though I could of.

I've quoted your manager calling some players "Old Fogies" and pointed out you don't have any, so he's looking to shoulder the blame from himself.

Fucking grow up Andy I thought you were a father, I love Bob, he's my favourite Poolie is a really adult response isn't it.

I heard him say that there were 4 or 5 old fogies he wants to get rid of - I was trying to work out who he is referring to.

I believe he was referring to the moaning gits who sit behind the dugout in block 9.

A source from the club has told me that the players are getting confused with Coopers instructions and the moaning gits behind him, they dont know who to listen to.

Cooper has instructed Raj that he wants to get rid of them so he can concentrate on his game plan of hoofing the ball into the oppositions box or getting big Ex to throw it.

I have told people to fuck off Andy usually when I believe they're wrong over some point or other. You still haven't pointed out any of my original post that is incorrect.

As many other Darlo fans have pointed out on this thread, (apart from the usual pricks), I have made a legitimate point. A team that averages under 24, a squad that averages 24.5 on the day is called "Old Fogies". If Pools manager said that about a team/squad of that age I'd have a go at him as well. You refuse to discuss anything simply because I support a different team to you, but will make pointless posts like....

I love Bob, he's my favourite Poolie

Next

Nothing of Interest here

You won't or can't debate anything but continue to post because you wan't to top a monthly R.O.H. list. I await your next one liner or pointless fucking post to me. Or let's discuss "Old Fogies" You can back Cooper up and list them or agree with me that you don't really have any, and more importantly had even fewer playing yesterday.
