What a surprise.

Lib Dems joining the Tories (and Independents) to form the majority on the council.

Tories and Lib Dems.

One and the same in 2010, one and the same today.

It's about time Labour were kicked out, they've done very little for the town, apart from helping DMP.

I still view Darlo as a Tory town because that’s what I grew up with.

When our fantastic town returns a Tory MP again, I will think about moving back home.

I've was speaking to a local Labour ex-politician and he said that Jenny Chapman is really worried that she will lose her seat at the next general election. It would have been even worse if the proposed boundary changes had come into effect before the election, which will see all the Darlington rural areas move from the Sedgefield Constituency into the Darlington Constituency.
