Hi chaps,
Looking to get myself a new laptop in the next coming days in time for the Christmas period, any recommendations on a decent one to get?
Got a budget of around £500 to get one with, my old packed in and just haven't got round to getting a new one as yet.
Cheers.

The HP Pavilion 14-bk052sa does well in reviews. For about £430.

Ha ha. I subscribe to a well known consumer magazine that tests these things. Otherwise I wouldn't have a clue. As OFC well knows!
So I thought I'd have a look and see what they were recommending. In the spirit of being helpful etc. (No I haven't had a visit from the 3 spirits yet).

Appreciated, I'll have a look into it at some-point tonight/tomorrow.
Thanks Feethams1966.

I'll leave that to everyone else to decide.
Otherwise I'd be a hypocrite.

Some times just resetting back to factory settings. I.E a fresh install can bring life back to a slow laptop! But you will loose all your data and all programmes that are installed.
That's if it still boots up!
