The new Top Gear, what do you think?

Thought the first episode was pretty poor, apparently the BBC had to add canned laughter. Watched the second episode on Sunday, again poor, but I did enjoy the end of the South African road trip. Don't think Chris Evans is the one for the show and God knows why they employed Eddie Jordan.

They needed to change the format. But I guess they struggled to think of anything else

I preferred the old Top Gear where they used to review cars.

Then Clarkson et al took over and it became a massive s*** fest.

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Only watch top gear on Dave - if you are watching Dave it means there is nothing else on.

I guess Top Gear has a problem, they don't want to change a winning formula. But the new presenters can't deliver the same show.

I won't intentionally watch it but will watch the new one on Amazon.

I can't believe the useless Tory government have not made payment of the TV license fee voluntary.

I'm a self confessed motoring addict, 2 wheels, 4 wheels, doesn't matter. Never watched the old Top Gear, wouldn't watch the new one. A while back I saw a bit of a Top Gear programme where the presenters were filling classic cars with water and trying to drive them. Nuff said. I thought Monty Python was funnier.

Chris Evans has announced on twitter, that he's leaving the show after just one series. Probably leaving before he's fired.

Fired over the poor ratings, or the upcoming police investigation?

Evans is, and always has been, an arrogant tosser who winds up colleagues and viewers alike.

Apparently Steve Coogan is being mentioned as his replacement, can't see that working either. Time to let it go, especially with the original three on Amazon. Taken to LeBlanc far more than I thought I would though.

The new format seems to have worked, loved the Ethiopia episode, what a beautiful country.

I was gutted when Clarkson & co left, but I think the new line up works very well, as did the previous one & it's still worth a watch.
