Holiday bargains on the internet.
What a wonderful thing the internet is. I went on a ski-ing holiday before Christmas and we stayed in a catered chalet. We have promised our family a ski-ing holiday next winter and to have taken them all to the same chalet for the New Year week, which is the only week we can go, would have cost £7600 or so.
Looked on the interent last night and picked up a non-catered chalet in a great location for £1530 for the full New Year week and that's 9 of us in a 12 person chalet. An absolute bargain. The list passes will cost considerably more than the accommodation but hey ho.

What's the difference between catered and non catered? Surely it's the same as saying I could go all inclusive for x amount but wow I can get self catering for 200 quid less?

Catered is were they provide breakfast and an evening meal with free local plonk.

What I mean Pete is that you have basically told us how much you are saving by going self catering rather than catered.

Nope for New Year week you'd normally pay at least £500 per person for a non-catered chalet, so £4500 or a catered chalet at least £850 per person for a catered chalet. So a total prive of £1530 is in my opinion a bargain.

Yeh, great invention. It'll catch on one day I'm sure.Darlo_Pete wrote:What a wonderful thing the internet is.

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

So where do you ski, my back garden is as flat as a pancake. Cross country ski-ing is far too energetic!!bertbanger wrote:just stick a friggin hot tub in the garden and some fake snow, job sorted
