Very soft dismissals for Bell and Bairstow just before the new ball.

Yep, went from looking like a good recovery to back in the s***. Prior especially disappointing.

321-9 so far, below par performance but from 24-3 I think that's a decent recovery, Harris has his 5 wickets so hopefully will indicate that Anderson, Broad and Bresnan should be able to get them knocked over without conceding a lead or at least a small deficit.

If we can put another 30 or 40 on for this last wicket it will really put us in a good place.

361 all out, great swatting from Broad and Swann, record 10th wicket stand against the Aussies

Not a bad total in the end though - good to see that despite looking like collapsing a couple of times, we actually had the mentality to dig in and steady things both times.

Now if Cook and Root can get firing rather than everyone else playing catch-up, we might be capable of winning this series!!

Our batting isn't great but thankfully the Aussie's is woeful.

Seriously, if they can't make a decent score on this pitch, they've got no chance of winning a test.

128 All out and we bat, great performance by Swann with a 5-fer - last time Englishman took 5 @ Lords was 1934 i think.

Only 2 results I reckon in this match and the odds on a draw will be big

Fair play to England, doing their best to keep this interesting.

Yeah making if difficult for themselves, the top order looks totally out of sorts, KP is in a dark place at the moment by the looks of it

Cook worries me more. You expect a few cheap wickets mixed with outstanding knocks from KP, but Cook is normally solid.

300 already ahead with 7 wickets in the bank, can't see anything but a win here

Yeah it's like watching two boycotts lol

Bell should have walked I reckon, getting very disappointed with the players at the moment.

Still this match may define the series and a 5-0 drubbing which will be nice

I really don't think it carried - despite what Gower and Warne say.

I think it did but no 3rd Ump can give it because there's doubt from the telly pictures.

There is a problem with DRS but its better than it was

There was an angle from straight on where it looked like the fielder trapped it against the floor with his pinky as it bounced up.

But anyway, any such debate is irrelevant as Australia are s*** and we'll demolish them regardless.

I'm going to change my prediction to 5-0.

Think the excitement of the first test was a a one-off and the Aussies really are as bad if not worse then I thought before the series started.

I reckon when Swan dropped the ball just before lunch, that the non striker was out (if England had appealed!).

Totally against the spirit of the game but interesting. I don't think anyone picked up on it.

Root had a great innings and took a few important wickets but I would have given MOTM to Bell, his ton dug us out of trouble and won the game.
