- The first Saturday night at the Olympic stadium with the 3 GB golds.

- Trott, Ennis, Jade Jones etc. winning medals. Hot, hard-working, high-achieving women getting the platform they deserve. Nice change from the thick, fame-desperate, she-pricks that normally get celebrated in this country.

- Generally London has been pretty cool for the last fortnight. Loads of great touches like free park screens etc. Was lucky enough to get along to a handful of events in the end including free marathons etc. and they were all excellent - atmosphere, organisation (apart from the slog of getting the tickets) diverse crowds etc. Personal highlight was the gymnastics which I wasn't expecting to enjoy at all.

The applause for the saudi girl in the 800 metres.

Shame she'll probably be stoned to death when she gets back.

Fucking moronic religious dick heads!!!

The first Saturday of the athletics, with 3 gold medals won in quick succession was pretty special, and is hard to top.

Other stand out moments for me were Murray winning gold, Kat Copeland's reaction and Hoy winning the Keirin.

David Rudisha's run was the best non-British moment for me. A ridiculously good performance.

I also enjoyed Daley holding his nerve in his final dive. I know he only won bronze but it was a good moment.

Actually, the opening ceremony as well. Far better than I thought it was going to be.

The Russian woman who won the steeplechase. Never quite understood why they bothered with the fences but it was amazing to see how much ground she gained at each steeplechase.

This my wife's greatest moment

The best moment would have been seeing Posh Spice fall off the roof of the taxi during the closing ceremony, but alas, it did not happen.

Letting Oscar Pistorius run in the Olympics games is taking away the right of an able body person to complete in the games when Oscar is runnning in the Paralympics.

Oh dear!

Nobody has the "right" to compete.

He qualified because he was better.

But he is running in both games ! Thats just unfair on an able body person. Its one or the other he should be made to pick which one he wants to run in not run in both games

Rubbish!!!

He was South Africa's only competitor in the men's 400 metres. He came 8th in his semi final.

Each nation could have a maximum of 3 competitors in each athletic event.

Who, exactly, did he prevent from competing?

It's people like you that prevent progress!!!

So Usain Bolt is greedy for running in 100m, 200m, and 4 x 100m relay.

He also could have given up a couple of places to an inferior althlete.

And let's not even start on Michael Phelps or all the under 18 competitors that took the place of a senior.

What about all those women taking part. Think how many more men could have competed if teir places had not been stolen.

The word moron would be a credit to you, honestly!

Completely missing the point and actually quite discriminatory.

Pistorius was faster than the able bodied 400m runners in South Africa. That's why he was picked.

He wouldn't have been at the Olympics if he wasn't. Given your clear, in depth knowledge of South African 400m running, who should have gone in his place?

Is Mo Farah greedy for running the 5,000 and 10,000m?

Totally agree.

And I thought us Darlo fans were completely devoid of prejudiced bigots!

Silly of me really.

For me, the two Mo Farah gold medal moments will take some beating.

I'm just proud that there are so many moments to choose from.

Seriously though, he failed to qualify for the final, coming 8th in his semi.

Must admit, I haven't watched much paralympics in the past.

But now you mention wheelchair rugby, that could be interesting!

I'll watch out for it.
