Adam Ant. Kings of the wild frontier. Yes, I admit it...

Last weekend I went to the Silverstone Classic race meeting and he was headline act on Saturday night. I didn't know what to expect, but he was fantastic!

You seem to be part of the 'hippity hoppity' brigade George. Have a listen of my post on the 29th July (skip the first 15seconds) let me know what you think, no idea why I was listening to it.

Spector's debut album- Enjoy it while it lasts. Kind of pop like Indie, some big anthems on it and easy to listen to

Raining on a tired but strangely allusive cat - Micheal and the Penis Enlargers.

It's a mix of pretentiousness, snobbery, dub-step, and pure shite and it is (no exaggeration) the best song I have ever listened to. If it reaches the top 40 though then tell me so I can edit the above statement.

Been listening to 'Bastille' a lot lately - they've been on my radar for a while. Probably not one for the guitar band purists.

Good shameless electro pop stuff. Thinking about going to see them when they come up here. Check out 'Pompeii'.

The black keys - el camino

Dismissed them as one of those identikit bland trendy indie bands, but fuck me this is a good record.

Wow - how wrong you got them. Black Keys have been one of my favourites for the last 5 or 6 years. Every album is a corker, good rough bluesy type stuff. A bit like the band the White Stripes could've been if they'd had a bit more to them.

Yeah I've realised that. I wrote them off based on how they looked and the fact the music press were bigging them up. Got the last three of their records downloaded now.

Grown on me also, a current favourite of mine at the moment, think the new album is on the disappointing side though but with any luck that may grow on me also. Maybe my standards for them are too high after a first brilliant album.
