Presidents of the United States of America - Video Killed the Radio Star

Saw them play it live the other week, 90's awesomeness at it best.

Are they still together/touring?

"Lump" is a cracker of a tune.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Yeah, they just did a tour where they played (as well as some other tunes) their self titled album, in order, from start to finish. I saw them at the Forum in Kentish Town. They were brilliant.

I really liked that album, and Lump is a belter. Wierd Al does a pretty good parody of it too.

Another cover I really like is Pauline Black's version of I Can See Clearly.

Boring as fuck trivia fact for you - when they play Lump live they finish the song the way Weird Al does, as they say its better than how they originally wrote it.

True facts boys.

Agreed - good album. I'm going to put it on the iPod on the way home tonight.

Might be wrong but I think the REM cover of U2's One is not them at all. Could be mixed up with another so called REM cover that wasn't them. If you know what I mean. And I'm not sure I do.

Anyway, Madness' versions of Lola and Iron Shirt (or Iron s*** as it's titled on You Tube) are worth spending ten minutes searching and listening to.
