Re: NEWCASTLE AND SUNDERLAND FANS
I'd be suprised if either team brought anything less than 4500
Re: NEWCASTLE AND SUNDERLAND FANS
Why? how many times in the past have we said we will get a good crowd and then dont!TinShedDarloFan wrote:I'd be suprised if either team brought anything less than 4500

Re: NEWCASTLE AND SUNDERLAND FANS
Due to the fact that Sunderland and Newcastle are both very well supported away from home
Re: NEWCASTLE AND SUNDERLAND FANS
Yeah i the league. alot might not care about a friendly. personally i don't think the crowd will be as big as people are saying.
Re: NEWCASTLE AND SUNDERLAND FANS
6000 i think the full crowd

Re: NEWCASTLE AND SUNDERLAND FANS
Can't see why not. We played Sunderland 2 years ago at The Arena on a Wednesday night, which brought in a crowd of 9924 with 5000+ from Sunderland

But that year we only dipped below 3k crowds twice at home and got many more good gates, I suppose it depends mainly on how much the oppo fans bring but the home fans won't be there in masses.quakersam wrote:Can't see why not. Incidentally that year we played Leeds at home in the carling cup and got nearly 7900, so that'll be 5k this year if we're lucky then

Re: NEWCASTLE AND SUNDERLAND FANS
We actually played Leeds in the JPT which was on Sky. To bring in a crowd like that for a Tin Pot Trophy tie is very good

Re: NEWCASTLE AND SUNDERLAND FANS
As of today Newcastle had sold 2000 and Sunderland 2000 we had sold 1800 for the Mackems and 2000 for the Geordies.

Carling or Johnstone's paint, all tastes the same when you're pissedquakersam wrote:We actually played Leeds in the JPT which was on Sky. To bring in a crowd like that for a Tin Pot Trophy tie is very good

Re: NEWCASTLE AND SUNDERLAND FANS
Well then just as i thought i really do not think we will break 5,000, which is a shame. Some fans seem to think we are gona get 9000+ not a chance!quakerste wrote:As of today Newcastle had sold 2000 and Sunderland 2000 we had sold 1800 for the Mackems and 2000 for the Geordies.

Re: NEWCASTLE AND SUNDERLAND FANS
We'll break 5000 for the game tonight, if there was 4000 tickets sold as of last night we'll pick up another 1000 easily through people paying on the night, i'd still be very suprised if Sunderland didnt bring anything more than 4000, there site had it on that tickets could now be bought today at our place so i should imagine a few will just make there way down tonight
Re: NEWCASTLE AND SUNDERLAND FANS
i know newcastle have an allocation of 5000 - they will proberally sell out, then more can now buy on the day
