Three times a Quaker

Post by Lawman3 » Tue Jul 14, 2009 7:32 pm

The return of Craig james got me thinking. Is this the third time he has joined us (including his first loan spell)? Are there many others who have joined us for a third time?
I have a feeling Lee Ellison has, and maybe Gary Himsworth, but stand to be corrected.

Dave Hawker was one of my favorite ever players.

Himsworth wasn't bad either............

Question who broke Gary's leg?

Thought the same at the time, but from what I've gathered more recently I don't think he is - lots of charity/community-type work and well thought of.

That said, it was meant to be a bad challenge on poor Himmo.

Darren Moore might be a nice guy and do a lot of work in the community and for charity but that "tackle" on Gary Himsworth was shocking.

I was going to say Steve Tupling but someone got in there first. There is another one on the tip of my tongue but i cant remeber who it is ...... oh yes Michael Bridges!

Hmm yes i reminded Darren 'Charideee' Moore of that horror show when we bumped into the Bradford team at motorway services several years after.
He looked slightly bemused. And scary

Hehe, fair play though mate you stood your ground. He maybe did think about twatting you but would have asked you to remove you glasses first!

I think the bemusement was possibly him trying to work out who the fook Gary Himsworth was - can't imagine he's the only players who's legs been broken by him.

Adam Reed?

Started out with us, went to Blackburn, had a loan spell back with us in 96/97, then rejoined permanently at the start of the 98/99 season.
