O/T: Norwich shoot Gunn...
...Bryan Gunn sacked by Norwich after just 7 months in charge and 2 games into season!! Smacks of a weak board crumbling under supporter pressure in my opinion.
"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"
Re: O/T: Norwich shoot Gunn...
crazy! How can you sack someone two games into a season?
Re: O/T: Norwich shoot Gunn...
Insane. That's their entire pre-season gone to pot then. Sometimes I wonder about the mental calibre of people who run football clubs.

They won 4-0 on tuesday

Did he s*** in the chairman's cornflakes?
I hope he did, that would make a great story (and a slightly less great youtube video).

Blimey. Alright I know they got humiliated on the opening day but even so, after one league game? Ridiculous.

That would be another "Delia Cheat" then !!!
Re: O/T: Norwich shoot Gunn...
Football has gone fucking mad! Yes they were battered on the opening day, but Gunn actually recovered by engineering a convincing 4-0 win at Yeovil in the cup! Its utter bollocks that.

I can't help but feel the norwich board have shot themselves in the foot with this decision. Even if they were cannon fodder last week its far too early in the season to sack him.

True, but something unknown must have happened to trigger such a decision.TKOA wrote:I can't help but feel the norwich board have shot themselves in the foot with this decision. Even if they were cannon fodder last week its far too early in the season to sack him.
