Isn't it usually about now that Darlopete comes in and says the pitch will be waterlogged so game off.

Please don’t jest there is a lot of rain in the forecast for the next couple of days.
On a more serious note if we don’t want to continue in the League should we be playing this game at all.Surely if we go ahead we are undermining our argument regarding the safety and viability of the league programme.

It's a tricky one Old Git.

Someone had the idea on here that if we pay and organise for full testing before the game, then that might neutralise any criticism aimed at us.

I don't want to jinx things but the weather forecast for Saturday is terrible. I'll get my coat.

Struth, going back to the late 60's we had a string of clubs sack managers either before or after we beat them. I wonder if since that time any club has had as many similar instances as we have.

And if someone gets a positive test the game will be off anyway haha!

I can't see how the game can go ahead... If Darlo as club asking for league to finish using health as part of the reason then surely can't except to play in the trophy. You can't pick and choose which games are safe or not

I think we have to go ahead as there is 28 days for the clubs to respond, so until the League have their results we play on.

I think in normal times you're supposed to give at least 8 days notice before a match if you're withdrawing and if they're not entirely happy with your reasons you can be kicked out of next season's competition and fined. Maybe they wouldn't be entirely happy if you didn't have any proven covid cases. Mind the FA have always played fair with us in the past, haven't they

Quaker TV subscription being advertised for the match on official website so it appears we are planning on playing the game. I suppose we have no choice as the season has not yet been cancelled. The weather may yet intervene as there has been a lot of rain in the last few days and more rain or snow to come.
Presumably Wealdstone travelling up Friday and the last thing we need is to get landed with is their travel expenses if the game is called off.

Chris Stockdale on twitter has said the club are funding testing for the players for this game.

What is the point to tomorrows game?

Is it simply to pay to watch a game that might be meaningless? I can't see this seasons competitions finishing and did i read somewhere that last seasons Trophy final is still to be played. IS THIS ALL ABOUT MONEY? Leaves a bad taste if the case.

Last seasons trophy and vase finals haven't been played and seem to have dropped off the radar.
