Nathan Lowe - CM
Myles Boney - GK
Both arrive on an initial 1 month loan from South Sheilds.
Guess that means we're preparing to carry on then.

Does this mean we expect the season to continue, as it would be daft to sign players on loan & then the season abruptly ends?

These signings have probably been in the pipeline for a few days/over a week, before the news of the funding broke.
We are, and rightly so, continuing to prepare and plan as normal, unless the rug is pulled beneath us from the DCMS. Then the club will obviously review its options.

Are they cup tied , not sure if SS managed to play any Trophy games. Anyone?

Both cup tied, both started Shields 2-1 defeat to Ashton United at the start of December.
