Weymouth V Darlington FC FA Trophy
Hopefully everyone gets down to Weymouth safely, weather not great tomorrow, should be ok Saturday, wet and 9 degrees , almost balmy .
Should think the team will almost pick itself, not a lot of changes, the only change after Tuesdays performance I would make is to strengthen the MF for one of wide players.
Anyway hope the team can give a good account of themselves, the odd shot on goal or a decent cross into the box would help, and with my anger management

Help get the club back to Darlo by helping to spread the word about the "Back to Darlo!" fund. The image on the right will be constantly updated with the latest total so please feel free to use the image link below the thermometer on your own signatures, blogs, websites, etc. | Image link: http://www.mydarlo.co.uk/img/BTD-therm-350x100.jpg |

If you get that dream, you'll probably sleep through the game.

I'm expecting a knock on the door from the covid police now for all this seditious talk

Re: Weymouth V Darlington FC FA Trophy
I will be listening to Darlofansradio for this one, after the farsley streaming debacle, never no what your going be receiving from picture to sound quality,
DARLINGTONS QTV HAS BY FAR BEEN THE BEST of what I have streamed , keep the good work up QTV.

Re: Weymouth V Darlington FC FA Trophy
Me too. The way our QTV lads provide a service, Sky & BT must be looking at poaching the talent!
Re: Weymouth V Darlington FC FA Trophy
Remember that gate money (or, in this case, streaming money) is split in the trophy. We need people paying that tenner as is does help the club

Let's not forget that income from live streaming is considered to be match income of which Darlo receives 50% after deducting costs.AndyPark wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 8:56 amA tenner Robbing bastards!Darlo Dodger wrote: ↑Thu Jan 14, 2021 6:35 pmWeymouth v Darlo.

Re: Weymouth V Darlington FC FA Trophy
Easy to take for granted sometimes but a huge thanks to our Quaker Tv and radio guys.
The coverage we get compared to most clubs at our level is just excellent and to see the radio guy ( sorry don’t know your name) setting off just now for a journey to Weymouth in not great weather conditions is fantastic. Thank you.
Like previously said, the more of us that watch the game could well make the difference between breaking even on the trip or not, particularly if happen to lose, although I fancy us to do well with a point to prove after the other night.

Re: Weymouth V Darlington FC FA Trophy
Just bought my pass,
I see it as £5 for watching the game and a £5 donation to the Darlo.
Also, I will at least know who has the ball and where it is on the field during the game.
Looking forward to it.

Believe me, you wouldn't notice the difference after a couple of pints of Ye Olde Weymouth Gutbuster
Re: Weymouth V Darlington FC FA Trophy
Do we know which players couldn't travel because of work commitments?

Re: Weymouth V Darlington FC FA Trophy
I can relate to that. Also a bit of Watermanship. Not to forget the drunken taxi ride back to Chickerell Camp at the early hours in the morning. We all love Wey-hey-mouth. Would have been great to have gone down for the weekend watching the game.Darlopartisan wrote: ↑Thu Jan 14, 2021 7:01 pmA day spent bridging at Wyke Regis, a decent walk into Weymouth for a few wets, happy days

My pal in Poole reckons it is dry & 4C today in Poole plus forecast for rain & up to 11C Saturday. If the bus gets through fog & ice today, game should be on.

Just finished work, but it won't let me register, so I'm listening to the excellent DFR instead.

Shame you Can't watch it with Quakerman 2. I think he'd be getting rather irate with some of our crossing.quakermass wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 3:03 pmSounds working but the picture is really jerky

Can’t fault the stream and commentary. The lads have started brightly enough but still yet to test their keeper!
