Oxford university vaccine

Post by Mister e » Wed Dec 30, 2020 1:43 pm

I said a few months back I was hopeful of this succeeding and today it's been approved now come on Boris and co start sticking needles in us 24/7 and let's get back to normal and watching our beloved football team inside the ground again. (Spen the scientists proved you wrong thankfully).

Proved me wrong on what?

I've not so far as I can recall expressed any views on the ability of Oxford University to produce a vaccine.

Great news about the vaccine but unfortunately things set to get tougher before they get better. Only guessing but still think it will be months not weeks before we are watching live football again whether that be at Blackwell Meadows or The Arena.

The vaccine is still going to take some time to be widely distributed. I'd be amazed if we can see Darlo before April at the earliest.

Don't think there will be any relegation from the NLN and NLS this season as I think the same will happen as last season to Step 3 and below after today's announcement that the majority of the country is now in Tier 4.

Don't tell South Shields that - they will be instructing lawyers as we speak

Do they use the same firm as Spennymoor Hadaway and Shite ?

Question is, will Quakers be halfway through their backlog of fixtures by April? The lads will be getting a taste of full-time soccer as we will be doing 3 games a week at this rate. Now getting worried about FA Trophy final getting squeezed in ahead of the Euros.
Mind, now we have done Brexit and have total sovereignty over our borders, all England has to do to win the Euros is to stop all those foreigners getting into the country

Be interesting as Euros will need Wembley from 11th June.

When are the finals which usually take place at Wembley scheduled for?

I think the trophy was played - Harrogate won it while a football league side.

I think that was the semi final I'm not sure if the other semi final between concord rangers and Halesowen town has even been played yet.

Ironically Consett are in the 2019/20 final of the FA Vase and were recently knocked out of the 2020/21 competition by West Auckland.
