Darlo's best away kit?
As well as looking good yesterday, we also looked good. This kit is, IMO, the smartest away kit we have ever had.
I also liked a few in the mid 90s but what other good ones I am forgetting?

The Hutchison Telecom sky blue 3rd strip was a stunner.
Re: Darlo's best away kit?
I liked the Green strip in the 85 promotion year
Re: Darlo's best away kit?
Last year's was pretty great. And the green and black hoops from about 1993 was excellent too.
I have a soft spot for the garish yellow and red number from the horror season we were relegated from the league too.

I like the Red & Black combinations, last season was one of my favorites.
This seasons " Kendal Mint Cake " strip would look better with black shorts rather than white in my opinion.

I Like this years kit when wearing it. I don’t like it on the players. It looks washed out.
Best away kit for men is between last seasons Dennis the menace kit, and the 04-05 all black kit. Both epic.

Agree with tdk1 about the green & black hoops, the Hutchinson Telecom logo and the football league badges on the sleeves all just worked. Still got mine although I've got paint on it so I don't wear it much.
"At a meeting held at the Grammar School on Friday last - Mr Phillip Wood M.A., in the chair - it was resolved to form an Association Football Club for Darlington and neighbourhood. The opinions of those present were so unanimous as to the desirability of this step, that a committee was formed to complete the organisation of the club, and Mr Craven, 17, Garden Street, was appointed secretary pro tem." - The Northern Echo, Monday 23rd July 1883

The Hutchison Telecom sponsored Green & Black hooped shirt is the best one for me. Looked very classy especially in floodlit games (or so it seems to me now, thinking back)
Re: Darlo's best away kit?
We also had hummel kits in red (with white chevrons) and yellow (with blue chevrons). All were absolute classics.
I did like the mid-nineties orange and black strip we wore at Leeds (though it was let down by the Soccerdome nonsense on the front). We generally haven't done too badly for away shirts, which the exception of the light grey effort of the 2002/3 season which was so similar to the home shirt as to hardly constitute a "change" strip.

I used to like the Arsenal type away kit, no idea what year it was around though. It used to annoy Sarf & DC who both supported Spurs.
