Yep. He's under contract at Boro. They're not going to loan him this low. He played about 20 games in the Championship last season!

Wouldn’t mind us taking any of Brynn , Hemmings or James as our number 1 for the season

Interesting that the official site on the preview for the Scarborough game says he's our "New Keeper".

He has officially signed, so let's back him now as he will be our No 1.
"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

Jonny Saltmer is only 21 still learning his trade,we have got to back the lad make him feel wanted and he will be getting the right feeling for the club, which will help give him confidence,
Hopefully the back line will also help him gain confidence, it's a difficult situation to start a new season with a new club let's allow him the chance to assert himself by backing him from day one.

I have expressed my doubts about Johnny Saltmer but I agree we need to get behind him. He is our only keeper so it is a big ask for him to keep his form for 40/50 games as he is young and inexperienced. Hope he can grow into the role and prove an asset.

And hasn't had his back 4 that will be regular this season so that will help

Saltmer can't be any worse than Chelsea's £71.5M Arrizabalaga, so think of all the dosh we saved there😅
