I wonder if the situation stays the same clubs will be banned from selling them along with the likes of 50/50 tickets due to the risk of contamination. I know it sounds harsh but if the league do impose a ban this would be another couple of our vital revenue streams lost.

Im sure if you can go into shops and buy pretty much what you want then you'll be able to buy a match day programme

I wouldn't have thought that selling programmes wouldn't be a big money stream. Does anybody know how many on average we sell? I'd be surprised if it was 200 per game.

I don't know if the publication itself makes much but I guess there is an indirect revenue from it in terms of the publication of sponsors etc.

I seem to remember a point when we wanted to stop selling them during one of our periods in administration as they were making a loss, but we had to keep them going as they are mandatory. That's also why we tend to produce shorter programmes covering more than one game in pre season I think.

I may be misremembering though, to be honest.

makes sense. I am seem to remember as long as you produced a single programme which you could present to Mike Amos or the "match day bad language police" then you had met the league rule.
